UPS Standardizes on Enterprise Visualization
UPS has overhauled its process of designing all new and upgraded applications.
After successfully experiencing visualization on initial projects, UPS has standardized on iRise across its entire portfolio of application development initiatives. UPS has replaced text documents, static screen shots and use case diagrams with visualizations that allow stakeholders to fully experience proposed systems early in the process.
iRise visualizations are driving shorter requirements cycle times and giving designers the ability to test new applications quickly and cheaply with end users. The new process is speeding up the delivery of systems with lower project cost since most rework has been eliminated. Overall quality of software being delivered by IT has also improved due to better requirements early in the lifecycle.
iRise has been used on a broad range of applications that are both internally and externally focused. In one case iRise visualizations were so real they have been adopted as a training vehicle for new employees.
